After receiving salvation and later being filled with the Holy Spirit at a transformative training in Uganda in 2019, Tabitha felt an urgent calling to share the powerful message of hope and love of the Gospel. Reflecting on her own life, she realized how different her journey could have been had she embraced Christ earlier, igniting a passion within her to prevent others from facing the same regrets. This spark became the foundation for her mission in high school evangelism and discipleship.
In Kenya, over 80% identify as Christian, yet many schools merely pay lip service to that identity, following government curricula and offering limited prayer. In Kenyan culture, being labeled a Christian often comes at birth, but real faith needs intentional teaching and support.Tabitha’s own experience in a Christian school showed a lack of true discipleship—students might accept Christ, but few remained engaged, often returning to old habits without guidance.
Through her work with a year-long discipleship program in schools, Tabitha saw firsthand the transformative power of genuine faith when ongoing discipleship is employed. Some of those students even became missionaries. Imagine prioritizing Bible literacy in schools and empowering students to own and share their faith. We could nurture a generation of believers grounded in truth, capable of resisting deception and living vibrant, active lives in Christ. Tabitha has committed herself to bridge this gap by establishing AIM teams within the schools, fostering a community of support and growth.
Her dedication doesn't stop there; she also reaches the homeless and ventures into the uncharted territories of Kenya, bringing the gospel to those who have yet to hear it. Through God’s incredible guidance, Tabitha has had the privilege to minister to thousands, sharing the good news, leading many to Christ, and witnessing the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit to free the oppressed. Her journey embodies the spirit of hope, resilience, and unwavering faith, inspiring all who encounter her mission.
