The need for Christ in Pakistan is multifaceted, encompassing both spiritual and social dimensions. In a predominantly Muslim country, many individuals are searching for hope, purpose, and meaning in their lives, which can be found through the teachings of Christ. Irfan Masih and his son Timothy, as dedicated missionaries to Pakistan, emphasizes that the Christian community faces significant challenges, including discrimination, persecution, and economic hardships. These issues make faith and support systems essential for resilience among believers.
The message of Christ highlights love, compassion, forgiveness, healing, and deliverance—values that can foster harmony and understanding in a society often marked by religious tension. Embracing Christ leads to personal transformation and encourages a sense of community and social responsibility. As Pakistan grapples with problems like poverty, injustice, and conflict, Irfan and his son, Timothy are working to make disciples of Christ, creating pathways to healing and reconciliation while encouraging individuals to strive for a more peaceful and just society.
Projected Education for Orphaned and Impoverished Children
The plight of orphans and impoverished children in Pakistan is a pressing concern, with many lacking proper care, education, and support. Contributing factors for the high number of orphans include poverty, armed conflict, and health crises. These vulnerable children often face neglect and are at greater risk of exploitation and abuse, including being forced into labor in trades such as brick-making to support their families. In response to these challenges, we aim to establish the first AIM Christian school in Pakistan within two years, with the goal of creating a new quality of life and culture for the future of Christian families in the region.
As ambassadors for Christ, Irfan and his family are committed to the AIM mission, working to ignite a cultural transformation in Pakistan that embodies the Kingdom model found in Jesus' prayer: "Father, let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven."
